Fence The use of fences is to protect privacy, usually by preventing outsiders from seeing onto a property and people from seeing into neighbouring yards. They may be intended to mark property lines to demarcate a piece of real property or to prevent trespassing or theft and/or to keep children and pets from wandering away. The front yards in such neighbourhoods are often open to the street. |
